Consisted of two (2) custom designed steel curtain walls covering approximately 50,000 square feet. One curtain wall utilized 1-3/4” x 9” x 36’ long un-spliced steel bars with custom steel setting chairs allowing for a glazing to be installed without the use of horizontal members. The second curtain wall utilized 3-1/2” x 7” x 42’ long rectangular tubes with custom applied cassettes to provide a 4-sided SSG application. Even more impressive, both of these curtain walls were designed to span the full 36’ without any mid-span structural support. The remaining 10,000 ft2 of glass façade consisted of a custom 3” x 11” cassette curtain wall and a conventional 10” deep stick built curtain wall.
